A classic emerald triangle clone circa 2010, coveted and preserved by growers in Humboldt’s coastal surf village Trinidad, is now recreated in stable seed form. At HSC we occasionally get the opportunity to keep a clone strain’s flame burning through our process of backcrossing and selfing a clone until the seed line consistently displays the traits of the original clone. We’re proud to have done this with many Emerald Triangle clone classics, Trainwreck and Headband, to name a few, and for a strain to reach levels of notoriety in the world’s cannabis strain capital we know it must be special.
